The sparkling blue of the ocean laps against the white sands of a calm, quiet beach. The hot and intense summer sun hangs in the blue sky above. People flock under the shady spots on the beach, either from the palm trees and their leaves or an arrangement of umbrellas in the sand. The clink of glasses and bottles is heard as people hydrate themselves. More chairs and tables are needed as more people gather. Bringing furniture to a beach gathering is extremely smart, and with portable furniture this becomes quite an easy task. On the beach, sand is a major player, and the furniture needs to be resistant to the detrimental effects of it as well.
A stone has always and everywhere been accompanying a man: initially a hearth was constructed of it, then it became the main building and ornamental material, and still later it was started to be used in decoration of buildings. Such works of arts as amphorae, jugs, and vases made from this natural raw material have reached us from ancient times. And they are all perfectly preserved, though they have a few thousand centuries.
Peter Pan is now over 100 years old and as popular as ever. The names of Neverland, Peter Pan and Wendy are part of our everyday language, but on 27 December 1904, the audience at the Duke of York Theatre in London were amazed by the strange and exotic characters that flew above the stage. These events were chronicled in the movie Finding Neverland, which tells the tale of J M Barrie's struggle of bringing his play Peter Pan to the stage. Now, a century later, Peter Pan' enchanting world has left a legacy of highly-prized collectibles that are loved by children and adults alike.
